In the early 1940s, the German army planned to invade Britain using the same Blitzkrieg tactics which had been successful in other countries across Europe.
As part of their invasion preparations, they issued small-scale coloured street plans of towns and cities across the UK due to be attacked by ground troops during the invasion.
As individual 1940s wartime originals of these town plans are nowadays difficult to find, Coloptics are re-publishing for collectors a small number of each in a special A5 format for £6.
